Pre-Service Student Chapter

Two exciting opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students offered by KyAEA are:

Present a virtual session at the annual KyAEA Fall Conference in the Preservice Division PechaKucha session

and

Apply for the KyAEA Allan Perkins Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship.

Pre-Service PechaKucha Session

KyAEA holds a conference every fall, at which sessions are held geared towards all grade bands including Higher Education and Pre-Service. Students can present virtually for the "Preservice Division PechaKucha" session. This session is meant to recognize excellence in our pre-service art education community and provide an opportunity for these students to present amongst their peers.

Presentation proposal applications will be posted Summer 2024.

Through this scholarship, KyAEA honors Allan Perkins' involvement in our organization, and his commitment to and belief in the vital role that art education can play in all lives.
