Categories and Guidelines for our Annual Conference Art Exhibit

Every year at our annual fall conference, KyAEA hosts an exhibition and competition for student and teacher artwork. In order to submit student work, teachers must submit at least one piece of their own! Awards are giving in the categories below for participants of all ages.

Guidelines:

--->Entry for the teacher show is $10 per person (if you are an approved presenter, your fee is waived!)

--->Teachers are able to bring 10 2D, 3D or Mixed Media pieces and 5 Exceptional Student artworks for judging.

--->Teachers are able to bring 2 of their own artworks for judging

--->Student and Teacher artworks must be submitted by the deadline at conference to be eligible for judging and awards

--->Forms for artwork will be available to complete onsite at conference for artworks

~Mixed Media **New Category**

1st-3rd in each category will receive awards

One "Best of Show" award given

K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12

**All 2-D work needs to be either matted/mounted or framed, work submitted without a matt/mount or frame will not be included​​**
