Art Educators of the Year Awards
Conference time is the time to recognize our AMAZING Kentucky Art Teachers and Leaders!
KyAEA honors art teachers each year at our annual Fall Conference with awards recognizing their excellence in teaching. Teachers are nominated by members of the Kentucky Art Education Association. KyAEA Award Recipients can then go on to compete for the National Art Education Association awards the following year. Members can nominate art and museum educators as well as school leaders.

Elementary Level Art Educator of the Year
Middle Level Art Educator of the Year
Secondary Level Educator of the Year
Higher Education Art Educator of the Year
Special Needs Champion Art Educator of the Year
Art Educator of the Year
Supervision/Administrator of the Year
Museum Educator of the Year
The nomination window is open until 2 weeks before our fall conference. That means you can nominate an excellent educator at any time! Please make sure to give personal contact information in case you are nominating early and the nominee changes schools.
