NAEA Conference 2019 Boston

This past March, art educators from all over the Bluegrass State traveled to the historical city of Boston, Massachusetts to soak up three amazing days of professional learning at the National Art Education Association 2019 Convention.
Many of our own were given the opportunity to be presenters at the 2019 convention with topics such as traveling with art students and collaboration. We are extremely proud of these educators who represented us so well.
We are also extremely proud of the student work in the state artwork display and our winning 2019 Youth Art Month Flag Design. All of these wonderful works were enjoyed by all who visited the vendor area of the convention.
Highlights from the convention included things like the general session keynote presentations from Amy Sherald, Howard Gardner, Peter Reynolds, along with many others. The free admission to area museums and galleries, including the Museum of Fine Arts featuring a new Frida Kahlo exhibition. And finally, the hundreds of relevant and exciting workshop sessions presented by other art educators, vendors and supporters of arts education.
We hope to see you next year in Minneapolis for NAEA 2020!
