KyAEA Current Conference Info
The KyAEA Board is happy to report updated changes for the 2020 Fall Conference!
Conference will be held virtually over a variety of platforms like Facebook Live, Zoom and Pre-Recorded Lesson Videos. There will be a separate conference group created on Facebook where you'll be able to access all of the conference materials.
We are still looking for presenters, awards, silent auction items and more to make this conference a great one and feel just as "connected" as we normally do.
Prices for the 2020 Fall Conference:
-$50 for Members
-$100 for Non-Members
-$25 for Students
Attendees will receive 14 hours of Professional Development credit!
Dates for Conference:
October 23, 2020 from 6 pm EST to 9 pm EST & October 24, 2020 from 9 am EST to 6 pm EST with a social hour and awards ceremony to follow
A Teacher-Only Art Show will be held virtually as well!
We need 20 members to step up and present a session! We've added new presentation categories to make personalizing your conference experience easy and catered to what YOU WANT out of conference.
The deadline to submit a presentation is October 1, 2020.

Conference time is the time to recognize our AMAZING Kentucky Art Teachers!
We have several different awards teachers can be nominated for and we've SIMPLIFIED the nomination process this year to maximize ease-of-use and to encourage more submissions.
Check out the nomination form and nominate a fellow friend/colleague.
The deadline to nominate a teacher for an award is October 1, 2020

Additional Conference Information:
We will conduct a silent auction for regional baskets only via Facebook. The
regions will need to collect donations of gift certificates or gift cards that can be easily
mailed in an envelope. A list of donations from each region will need to be sent to Susan
Hawkins by October 1st. When the auction is live people will be
able to bid in the comments up until 3 central/4 eastern on October 24th. Susan will email the
winners as she will close bidding and the winning bidder at close of auction will be asked to pay
Make sure you register for conference by October 1st to reserve your swag box!
