Bluegrass Region Show Information:
-February 22nd (Friday): Deliver art to Giles Gallery, 3-6pm (If you need to come on Thursday, please let Ilona know)

-March 24th Closing Reception,pick up art from 2:00-4:00pm, Awards @ 3pm

-March 11-15: EKU Spring Break, Giles Gallery is closed.

2018 Theme: “Your Art, Your Story”

This artistic event will celebrate YOUTH ART MONTH 2018 sponsored by the KyAEA and open to students of all current members in grades K-12. Winners of the competition receive special recognition, state and national exposure. Every year at the KyAEA Fall Conference, there is an AMAZING student show that exhibits everything students have created thus far!  This year is no different, but we have some more detailed instructions along with gallery tags and forms to help the process run smoothly.  Please also note that the cost to participate in the student/teacher show is $10, to be paid at the registration table at conference.

Congratulations to all of the amazing student artists who qualified and placed for the 2018 All State Art Show! It was another amazing show located at the Hellmann Creative Center in Covington, Kentucky.  The awards ceremony was held on April 22nd and many student artists were recognized on that day.

March has been a super busy month around the state with the Regional High School All-State shows kicking off.  Congratulations to all of our regional winners and especially those moving on to the state level competition! The state level competition is set to be installed on April 7th and 8th in Covington, Kentucky at the Hellmann Creative Center.
